The Illustrated London News, vol. 47, no. 1338, p. 351.

October 14, 1865

Captain Anderson, of the American emigrant-ship Villafranca, has been committed, by the United States Commissioner Osborne, for trial by grand jury on charges of ill-treatment and of the serving of insufficient and unwholesome provisions to his passengers during a recent voyage.
