The Illustrated London News, vol. 47, no. 1332, p. 223.

September 2, 1865

By reports from the American Consuls at Bremen and Hamburg it appears that during the first six months of 1865 about 34,600 emigrants left those ports for the United States. This is a large increase over last year's reports.
