[Mr. Antrobus]

The Illustrated London News, vol. 45, no. 1273, p. 179.

August 13, 1864

Mr. Antrobus, Third Secretary to her Majesty's Embassy at Paris, has been appointed a Second Secretary of Legation at Washington. Mr. Kirkpatrick, Third Secretary at Copenhagen, has been appointed a Third Secretary at Washington. Mr. Gosling, Third Secretary of Legation, has been transferred from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Mr. R. C. M. Stevens, Vice-Consul at Constantinople, has been appointed Consul at Jeddah. The office lately held by Mr. Stevens will be abolished.--The Queen approved of Mr. C. Daniel as Consul at Port Louis, Island of Mauritius, for the King of the Belgians; and Mr. Nicholas L. Humphrey as Consul at Trinidad for the United States of America.
