[The Cape Mail]

The Illustrated London News, vol. 44, no. 1255, p. 411.

April 30, 1864

The Cape mail has arrived. The news is not generally important. The notorious Alabama had put into Table Bay for coals and supplies. In her cruise in the Indian Seas she had captured and destroyed seven vessels.
