[One of her Majesty's Ships]

The Illustrated London News, vol. 43, no. 1228, p. 434.

October 31, 1863

One of her Majesty' ships has taken up a position in front of Messrs. Laird's docks at Birkenhead; all the workmen have been turned out of the steam-rams, and their places filled up by strong guards of marines. Three men-of-war keep watch in the Mersey.
