The Illustrated London News, vol. 42, no. 1208, p. 638.

June 13, 1863

During the American war the Confederates have fitted out 17 privateers, 13 of which have been destroyed. They have captured 100 Federal merchantmen, and destroyed two millions sterling worth of property.
