Beauregard's Head-Quarters

The Illustrated London News, vol. 39, no. 1117, p. 491.

November 16, 1861

Our Special Artist in America writes as follows from the Federal camp respecting the accompanying Illustration:—"This is from a sketch which I made during the time that Fairfax was in possession of the Federal forces. At present the advance of the Confederate army hold it, but in a short time they will, in all probability, be driven out again, as the Federalists are advancing."
