[The New York Tribune Relates the Recovery of a Woman]

The Illustrated London News, vol. 38, no. 1088, p. 432.

May 11, 1861

The New York Tribune relates the recovery of a woman from the Comanche tribe of Indians who had been stolen by them when nine years old, and had resided with her captures for twenty-five years. She had quite forgotten her language.
